Cape Cares

Established in 1996, the mission of the Cape Cares Program is to change the course for good by making a positive, tangible difference in the lives of the people in our communities. Through volunteerism, employee activism, fundraising, and spearheading donation drives, the employees of Cape Bank strive to create the most successful volunteer program in Atlantic and Cape May counties. Our success is not only measured in donations and volunteer hours, but in the positive changes we manifest in the communities we serve.

Throughout the year, Cape Bank employees volunteer at a variety of local events for various organizations. These events range from fundraising to gathering much-needed articles such as food and clothing or anything else needed to help make a positive change in our communities.

In 2010, the CapeBank Charitable Foundation recognized a need to maximize its charitable efforts in a way that would give the most positive effect to our communities. Thus partnerships were formed with several charitable organizations within Cape May and Atlantic counties. These organizations are all human services organizations that strive to make a difference in our community. We are excited to enhance the Cape Cares volunteer program by working more actively with the CapeBank Charitable Foundation's Community Partners:

The Arc of Atlantic County
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates)
Community Food Bank of New Jersey/Southern Branch
Gilda's Club South Jersey
Jewish Family Service
