(Wildwood, NJ) - For the tenth consecutive year, Cape Bank has been the major sponsor of Morey's Piers Education Extravaganza, which was this year held on May 29th and 30th at Morey's Piers in Wildwood.
Education Extravaganza, which began 15 years ago, is a full day of innovative workshops and fun for students in grades three through twelve. The beach and the amusement piers are the backdrops for a day of fun and education. This unique program is designed to encourage hands-on learning and interactive participation in safe, clean surroundings.
In the morning, students participated in thought-provoking activities in one of eight unique educational workshops. Afterward, students were rewarded with an afternoon of fun on the amusement rides and in Raging Waters Water Park, open exclusively for them. In the first year of the program, Education Extravaganza drew 1,000 students. This year's attendance jumped to nearly 5,500 students.
Since 1999, Cape Bank has been proud to donate $5,000 annually to support Education Extravaganza, which does an excellent job making education fun for children in our community.
